I completed my binational BSc in Public Governance across Borders at the University of Münster, Germany, and the University of Twente, the Netherlands, in 2023, including a semester abroad at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Querétaro, Mexico. During this time, I deepened my interest in how gender, power, and knowledge intersect, manifesting in my bachelor’s thesis on feminist utopianism as a political theory. After graduating, I interned with Terre des Femmes on the EU-funded project Join our CHAIN, addressing early and forced marriage and female genital mutilation in Europe. Since October 2024, I have been pursuing an MA in International Development Studies at the University of Vienna, focusing on gender issues, global hierarchies, and critical political economy. In June 2025, I joined the project Decolonizing Knowledge Production and Higher Education as a research assistant. I am excited to contribute to this meaningful work and to support Dr. Farah Naz in examining how power structures shape higher education and the production of knowledge.
